Moxley was more than a bearded dragon; she was the beginning of a lifelong love for reptiles. At eight years old, she was my very first reptile and the one who started it all.

From the very beginning, Moxley had the sweetest personality. She was gentle, affectionate, and loved spending time with her person. Over the years, she became a beloved member of the family and a constant little presence in my life.

Moxley was eventually diagnosed with cancer, and after eight wonderful years together, it was time to say goodbye. Losing her was incredibly difficult, but I will always be grateful for every day I was lucky enough to have her.

She may have been small, but Moxley left a huge impact on my life. She was my first reptile, my sweet girl, and the reason reptiles became such an important part of my world.

Eight years was never going to be long enough.

Rest easy, Moxley. You were loved more than you could ever have known.
