About Lindsey

Lindsey grew up in Murphysboro, Illinois — a quaint little town best known as the home of the Apple Festival. From an early age, she felt that animals were more than just pets; they were family, companions, and some of life’s greatest teachers. What she loves most about animals is the unconditional love they give so freely, and the unique personalities, quirks, and little habits that make each one irreplaceable. Whether it’s the funny way a pet sleeps, plays, or greets you upon coming home, Lindsey believes every animal leaves its own special mark on the people who love them.

Over the years, many pets have impacted her, but her dog Rufus holds a particularly special place in her heart. As Lindsey says, “He ruined me for other dogs.” His loyalty, personality, and companionship deepened her appreciation for the bond between pets and their families — a bond she experiences firsthand every day with her own pets.

Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her son, Anakin. In quieter moments, she loves reading, cooking, embroidering, playing video games, and the simple joy of a good nap. Those moments of comfort, creativity, and connection help shape the warmth and compassion she brings into her work.

For Lindsey, caring for families during the loss of a beloved pet is more than an occupation. It's a calling. She wants every family to know that their pet is never “just another number” to her. She takes the time to know each pet by name and cares for them with the same tenderness and dignity she would want for her own animals. Her goal is to provide comfort, peace, and genuine compassion during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can face.

Her faith is deeply woven into the heart of her work. Lindsey feels strongly that God called her to comfort those who mourn, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside grieving families with empathy, gentleness, and love. She hopes every family that entrusts their pet to her feels cared for, supported, and reminded they are not alone.

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” — John 20:29
